Csaba Wagner: Budapest Festival Orchestra,
Csaba Wagner was Born in Szentendre (Hungary). He finished the elementary music school there, he played Blockflöte and studied music theory. After he made his high-school graduation as Tenor Trombone player at the Béla Bartok Music Gymnasium, and his master as Bass Trombone player at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Budapest.
During his study he became as member of the Budapest Corpus Trombone Quartet with whom he won different competitions such as Philip Jones Cometition in Gebwiller (2003), ITF Trombone Quartet Competition in Helsinki (2003), Jan Koetsier Competition Munich (2004).
As soloist Jeju Brass Competition in South- Korea (2004) and Balogh-Zilcz Competition in Budapest (2001).
He won his first job as Bass Trombone player at the Hungarian State Opera in 2002, then he changed to Berlin in 2006. As member of the Staatskapelle Berlin he played until 2015. From 2015 until 2017 he was Solo Bass Trombone player with the Gewandhaus Orchestra in Leipzig. Currently he is playing with the Budapest Festivaloechestra as Solo Bass Trombone player.
